Northern Prairie Human Service Zone closes to the public

NOTHERN PRAIRIE HUMAN SERVICE ZONE

(Formerly known as Social Services)

 

Due to COVID-19, Northern Prairie Human Service Zone offices will be closed to the public until further notice. We continue to work in order to meet the needs of the public. The following information is provided to ensure individuals are aware of services available and different options in which one can apply for assistance and/or submit information requested for determination of benefits.

 

Individuals can click the link below to complete and submit an application online for the following programs

  • Health Care Coverage

      • Medicaid

      • Children’s Health Insurance Program

      • Basic Care Assistance

      • Medicaid Expansion

  • Economic Assistance Programs:

      • Child Care Assistance

      • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) - formally known as Food Stamps

      • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

      Child Care Assistance

If you do not have access to apply online, applications for SNAP, Medicaid, and LIHEAP, as well as other essential forms, can be found in the file cabinet outside the elevator door at the Towner Office, or by calling 701-537-5944 ext 1270.

 

We strongly encourage you to email verifications. You can do this by taking a picture or screen shot of paystubs, bills or other information and email it to:

nphszone@nd.gov

 

If you are dropping off applications and/or verifications, please call 537-5944 ext 1270 and someone will meet you at the door to get your applications or verifications. (There will soon be a lock box located by the elevator door where you can drop off your papers.)
